Abstract:
The article is devoted to the assessment of the current state of the world and Russian educational services market and the features of the existing export models of educational programs of higher educational institutions. The most successful areas of academic cooperation with universities of the People's Republic of China (PRC) are presented on the example of the Ural Federal University.

The purpose of the research is to present the positive experience of international academic cooperation on the example of the implementation of network interaction between the Ural Federal University and the higher educational institutions of the PRC.

This material was prepared through general scientific research methods. Furthermore, methods of content analysis of open statistical data on the research topic, comparative analysis, methods of grouping and generalizing information were used.

As a result of the research, it was concluded that the systemically implemented policy of developing network forms of interaction between the Ural Federal University and foreign universities, primarily with representatives of the PRC, is successful. Wherein all educational programs implemented in cooperation with universities in the PRC are licensed by the PRC`s Government and passed the state accreditation of the Russian Federation in 2019. Thus, according to the Ministry of Higher Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Ural Federal University became the first Russian university to successfully pass state accreditation for joint educational programs implemented in a network form with foreign partner universities.

The conditions and conclusions of the presented work can be applied by the leadership of Russian higher educational institutions for the purpose of developing the internationalization of educational activities and increasing the share of extra-budgetary receipts in the total mass of university income.
