Abstract:
Improving the competence of the university, teacher becomes a constant requirement for teaching. Knowledge of the principles of blended learning is one of the main components of these requirements. It is still a modern method of teaching, in which the dominant is integrated system of education. It is a convenient compromise between traditional teaching and fully open distance learning. An essential element of the ecosystem of blended learning is the human factor, in particular an appropriately shaped set of competencies of university teacher. In our paper we will present a resume of profesional competences and social skills neccessary for the person teaching within blended learning scheme. Resulting set of factors formulated specific professional profile of hybrid teacher.
Knowledge of modern methods of teaching, having properly understood the foundation of communication and interaction contributes to the incarnation of the theory in concrete applications in their daily teaching practice. For this reason, in this paper we will talk about a hybrid teaching, its tools, and constraints in the implementation of e-learning. We will also analyze the key issue of establishing boundaries between traditional teaching and remote teaching. We will stress the role of the factors that contribute to finding an adequate level of blended learning. In the conclusion we will present the original typology of such factors based on the study among groups of learners asked to express their expectations and postulates towards this form of hybrid learning.
