Abstract:

This paper is a transdisciplinary work from Education, art and psychology reflection on the present situations to which are exposed the young populations of the Communities specially the one that is leaving in Favela da Mangueira , close to São Cristóvão, in the city of Rio de Janeiro - Brazil. For exhibition in this Congress, we will present the partial result of experience research of seven years as regards of the subjects of the education and art to which are exposed the children and youngsters of this community. From peculiarities and transformations observable in the Community of Mangueira, stand out CULTURAL CENTER CARTOLA we are able to make working groups with this spaces and configure them as independent locations; and the internal and external communication contributes to the circulation of the information and the reinforcement of the sensation of belonging to the group. In a certain way, we are in front of excluded populations that lose their cultural autonomy what results in the increase of the cultural and socio-economic vulnerability lives. They take classes of violin, play piano and classes of arts. We detected as motive reason of this fact for this experience education and the decrease of the self-esteem, the feeling of less worth, a strange feeling of cultural exclusion in front of massive exhibition of information, communications and divulgations on themselves.
