Abstract:
It has always been complex learning of mathematics at all levels of education and higher education is no exception. Countries like Mexico have a high failure rate in areas like math and programming. This work aims to find a significant learning method of fuzzy logic motivating their study through the construction of electronic devices, in this case an air surveillance video device.
In our research group we have noticed that students who participate in research projects become more motivated when the project includes a physical, tangible, such as electronic devices. Through the development of hardware including video surveillance and movement in space, it is necessary to apply fuzzy logic. Students increase their motivation to see a real application of this branch of mathematics and learning is significant, compared to theoretical learning and tedious in the classroom.
Besides its impact on student learning in the field of fuzzy logic, also developed knowledge of other areas, including programming. Keywords:
