In this technical era, many technologies are available to us .The aim of my paper is to bring out the effectiveness of an application-app that helps in reducing mental stress and strain of the students studying in colleges and schools. Nowadays mental illness such as depression, Bipolar disorder, anxiety, schizophrenia, substance abuse etc. are identified as major problems for several students. So, creating an app which will either reduce or cure this illness will be the need of the time.

In the present world there are many websites providing tips for stress management but, these websites are effective or limited for a certain level of stress undergone by the students. A student is known as the pillar of the society but, we are losing an average of 6 per semester in a college. We all know that this suicidal tendency will be at peaks when the feelings sharing is at the least. Some people may have shy in expressing their problems so, there is a need of an application to share our feelings like a friend and help us like a father.

There should be a unique app for every college/school with a confidential database as well. This app will act as a bridge that conveys the problems faced by the students to the right destination that is a psychiatrist in case if it is stress related .This app will have some pre-defined information that can solve some general problems faced by students like stage fear. So, students will be able to solve their problems during their academic life.
Stress management, mental illness, create an App, acts as a bridge.
