Abstract:
Neurofeedback is a non-invasive technique that utilizes real-time brain activity feedback to train individuals to self-regulate their brain functions. It offers a promising approach to enhancing learning and memory by leveraging the brain's neuroplasticity.
This presentation offers a literature overview of effective neurofeedback protocols, highlighting their applications, benefits, and future directions for learning and memory enhancement.
Also, a case example will be presented, showing the neurofeedback training process, which aims to enhance attention and focus, therefore improving learning and memory capacity, cognitive functions, and academic performance. Finally, potential challenges and limitations are discussed.
Neurofeedback can be a valuable tool in educational and cognitive development settings, as research continues to uncover its beneficial contribution to lasting and measurable changes. Further research is needed to fully explore its potential in formal educational settings. It is likely most effective when used alongside other educational techniques and technologies. Keywords:
