Abstract:
The new era is characterized by a series of significant technological, social, and cultural changes, whose rapid development is affecting many areas of human activity must be studied.

One of the most significant features of this modern age is the rapid development of artificial intelligence, which has led not only to the emergence of new technologies, but above all to the widespread incorporation of existing technologies into many areas of everyday life.

The most important aspect is the speed at which technology is developing. A number of AI technological tools intended for various purposes have given rise to a new number of companies providing this type of tools, among them are the following categories: text, image, code, video, audio, business, among others.

This has resulted in the introduction of new technologies of IA as well as the extensive integration of already-existing technologies into many facets of daily life, including education.

Even while Artificial intelligence (AI) tools and advancements have the potential to be misused or applied unethically, there is a technology that has the potential to significantly improve student learning.

These technological advancements are a paradigm-shifting discovery for student learning and evaluation. Universities strongly advocate the use of IA so some tools of Artificial intelligence (AI) has begun to be used in Ecuador, specifically by teachers, in the last year.

This essay addresses the topic of artificial intelligence, whose quick advancement is having an impact on many facets of education. In the modern era, artificial intelligence is practically present everywhere. Given artificial intelligence's increasing interest across a range of companies and its effects on society, it's critical to comprehend how upcoming professionals and leaders view this technology.

The purpose of this article is to diagnose the level of use of AI in the classroom and how students perceive the use of artificial intelligence in education. Through literature review and previous studies on IA perception of university students, were collected the factors influencing IA perception among university students with this results, online questionnaires were developed and used to collect information from a sample of 120 students, who were asked about their experiences with AI through an experiment, their thoughts about its use, and their worries regarding the use of AI in the future. The results obtained could be useful for university educational institutions and companies dedicated to the development of AI tools. In future, will be expanded the research sample to include students from different universities from Ecuador for subsequent further analysis.
