Abstract:
Internship in teaching is a significant stage in the teaching assimilation process. It is designed to help and support beginning teachers in their integration at schools, to get acquainted with the educational system, and to cope with the obstacles they encounter while they get absorbed in the system.
This phase is characterized by many difficulties and has a decisive effect on the continuation of the professional life of the teacher. The internship workshop is an integral part of the learning and teaching process which the beginning teacher undergoes at his early professional career. Due to the current reality of technological change, schools in Israel have undergone extensive transformation processes. The aim of such processes is to provide appropriate teaching skills to the graduates of the education system of this era (Science and Technology Administration:

Adjusting teaching internship program to the Information and Communication era and assimilation of Information Technology among novice teachers is a target that the researchers seek to fulfill.
Producing an online internship workshop allows interns who are unable to reach face to face workshops on a weekly basis to participate in a flexible workshop, and to integrate in the activities of the workshop in a virtual space for discussing and sharing knowledge and experiences beyond the online setting.
The online workshop is designed to develop a professional Learning community of intern teachers. Technological aspects at this stage only facilitate the process and make it easier for them to deal with their teaching internship program.
The Objectives of the study are:
• To scrutinize/examine the effectiveness of online workshop compared to face-to-face workshops.
• To check what is the added value of an online media usage and how to exploit it for further learning of the interns.
• To reveal the challenges the interns face in teaching, as well as in the training system due to the use of an online workshop. Keywords:
