Abstract:
To achieve an effective learning outcome is necessary to ensure the academic motivation of students. However, lack of motivation is commonly seen in education systems, leading to teacher’s frustration due to the low level of students’ engagement in the learning process. For this reason, projects involving science, technology, engineering, and mathematics are necessary to create the perfect conditions for students’ motivation. This type of projects created by the combination of theory contents and real-world experiences are not just highly challenging for the students but also attractive providing effective learning outcomes. Therefore, in the present study, the need for academic motivation brought together the University, Industry, and Vocational Education and Training joining collaborative projects. In this sense, a Master Thesis of Master's Degree in Teacher Training for Secondary Education and Secondary Education, Vocational Training and Language Teaching from Miguel Hernández University (UMH) titled “Collaborative projects between the university, the food industry/hospitality industry and students of Vocational Education and Training in the agricultural and agri-food sectors” was carried out. We analyzed the scientific publications related to this topic using PRISMA methodology.
The Thesis presents e a specific collaborative project among:
i) University: Students with Food Science and Technology Degree,
ii) company: a dairy Industry and
iii) students form and Agri-food Vocational Education and Training.
The link with the Sustainable Development Goals (ODS) is also included to help transform society. The importance of healthy and sustainable food production was emphasized during the training stage. One of this paper's most important contributions is providing public materials (e-poster) and guidelines for future projects. Keywords:
