Abstract:
One of the challenges facing the University Teaching is the creation of new activities for students. Activities or exercises must be adapted to the subject and be as varied and comprehensive as possible.
This paper presents a tool developed to automatically correct the individual exercises of each student. This teaching tool obtains the solutions of series of exercises, which rely on the last three digits of their National Identity Document (DNI). In this way each student works independently and individually each year. In addition, the teacher's corrections are made quickly, since it only has to compare the student’s solutions with the ones obtained by the teaching tool created. This tool has been carried out using the free software R, and has been operating in different groups of Quantitative Techniques I Course of the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Granada. The results are satisfactory, as the student works individually to have their own exact solutions, encourages teamwork among students to resolve doubts and so on
