Abstract:
The objective of this article is to provide the appropriate information in order to achieve a defining theoretician and a practical rapprochement to the therapies with domestic animals, a different vision although not original, that it´s about the individuality of each participant and his joining to the therapy group.
The opening of new communicative channels, raising of motivation, the improvement of interpersonal abilities, the psychofisiological achievements and the teachers´training about alternative therapies are some of the goals that we wants to achieve, raising quality of life of people implied in the therapy project.
The shaping of the interdisciplinary team have allowed us to join efforts from different field of Psichology, Education, Etologia and Physiotherapy in order to provide better attention and education for people with special needs within diverse socio-educative contexts and finally to check how these animals are the best key element comparising them to the rest of therapies
