Collective intelligence, understood as a way of learning and improving collaborative knowledge, is carried out in this project through methods that include the creation and improvement of the use of participatory tools, where both students and teachers generate and maintain learning material.
Therefore, being the line of work the collective intelligence, the methodology is a sum of inverted classroom and gamming.
The possibilities offered by new technologies are used extensively in this project, opening the doors to students to direct participation with help and supervision by teachers.
Specifically, Twitter, Moodle or email will be used, linked with storage spaces for the information on the UPM servers, either Moodle or blogs.
The linking method is QR codes, that will be used and distributed not only in the laboratories, but in all the facilities of the School, where there are elements of study and documentation related to the degrees taught (elements and devices that are studied in the subjects).
In order to the information linked contain sufficient technical quality, it requires not only the supervision of the content but also the corresponding graphic edition, so that it can serve as a resource not only for subjects of the School's degrees but also for other related subjects. The use of the English language will be a requirement for the validation of the information, at least, with links to extended information in English.
The objective is also to serve as a showcase towards the outside, enhancing the visibility of the titles taught and increasing their prestige.
The objectives of this project are within the objectives of the new Bologna system, namely:
