Abstract:
The Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Granada, has developed a tutorial plan (TUTORGRADOS), for the new students of degrees of Pharmacy, Human Nutrition and Dietetic and Science and Technology of the Food. All Departments participated in this action. The inscription in the plan by the professorship and the students has been voluntary (85 and 624 respectively). A maximum of 4 students by academic year to each professor has been assigned. A follow-up of the students has been performed by means of individual tutorships. Participants have organized workshops or seminars by some of the professors such as: advice in the matriculation, procedure of permanency, funding sources and scholarships, search of bibliographical information and elaboration of works, teaching platforms, speaking skills and habits of study, safety and hygiene in the laboratory and mobility between others. The majority of the programmed activities have been realized satisfactorily, 60 % of the students think that they are beneficial for their training. The demand of individual tutorships has been acceptable though it is necessary to encourage the students in order that comes regularly. The majority of the student body and the professorship would recommend the adhesion to the plan to some colleague.
