Abstract:
The current world situation triggered a lot of processes. The ways we teach and students study have transformed dramatically. In most cases it is not that new things were invented, but old things were revised, reassessed and adapted to facilitate a new mode of studying. Teachers have known much, but a host of their tools were not activated. For about a year we worked in an on-line regime and then returned to the regular one. But as a result we came to conclusion that the most productive way to teach is combining commonly used and reopened and new technologies. It is obvious that there is no way to teach in the “before that” tradition as we already got the perspective of more exiting, interactive and productive way of communication between educators and students. As for teaching translation, several spheres were activated: retrieving all possibilities from MS Office, training technologies, remote translation systems, ways to search for information, using different libraries, transforming texts, making up glossaries, using computer-aided-translation tools and others. The study touches upon all these aspects and helps making the process of learning translation better and faster.
