Abstract:
The TKT course is a theory of teaching English full of practical things. Lessons have more sense when they are based not on amateur efforts of a teacher but on professionally worked out methodology. It is easy to organize different activities, set the tasks, and assess the acquired abilities and knowledge when there is such a basis. Engrossing into the philosophy of teaching brings better results and satisfaction of whatever hard work was done. It helps to analise merits and demerits of different approaches, to be flexible when working with different groups of students.

The article tries to show using of relevant comprehensive and reliable material of the course for university classes to make them more substantial, consistent, purposeful, and, thus, motivating and long remembered. A teacher and students will have better experience and feelings from such work. It will be rewarding for both sides.
