Abstract:
In times of crisis and global pandemic, a natural and protective reaction is to turn to various therapeutic models to transform stress and help to overcome it personally. The proven power of words and books is the main line supported by bibliotherapy and its practical tools.

In extremely difficult times for humanity, it was not politicians who found the right path to people, but artists who managed to present what was happening through the prism of colors, words, shapes and create a new hope. The creators are able to find the language in which to be heard and to help to realize and overcome extremely crisis situations and not at the level of humanity, but at the level of the individual. The proven power of words and books is the main line supported by bibliotherapy and its practical tools.

The purpose of the report is to reveal the impressions and real incarnations of the words as a weapon to deal with the uncomfortable and atypical situation caused by COVID-19. The study focuses on the position of world-renowned authors who have an impact on readers not only through their work, but also through their personal attitudes on various issues. They are writers who you read, but also believe in their life positions, writers who manage to find words that reach readers from all over the world. Apart from their works, which embody and convey the experience of dealing with the pandemic through literature, their current interviews are considered, reflecting and commenting on the most pressing problem – the pandemic caused by COVID-19.
