Abstract:
The report presents the implementation, the observations and the results of the training in digital environment conducted due to the corona virus pandemic in Bulgaria. The emphasis is placed on the individual teaching experience from the classes taught in the humanities at University of Library studies and information technologies (ULSIT). The advantages and disadvantages of learning through the google meet platform are considered from the point of view of students and from the point of view of the teacher. In this way, an attempt is made to outline a complete picture of the change in the learning environment and the consequences, which are gradually being established as practices. In particular, the observations and the experience in the process of teaching is analyzed in the following disciplines: History of the book; history and theory of reading; traditional library services.
Attention is also paid to the online resources offered by libraries as learning aids.
An analysis is made of the information resources used and whether the students have the ability to search, analyze and manage information relevant for the given tasks in accordance with their information competencies.
