Abstract:
In her contribution, the author deals with the mapping of particularities in a special facility, which under the conditions in the Czech Republic are incorporated into a specific form of preschool education under the name children's group. In her study, the author analyses the work of the thus-specified facility from the perspective of parents' ideas about further schooling and assistance for preschool children. The study presents the preschool education system in the Czech Republic, as well as diversity and plurality in the existence of facilities for work with preschool children. The author then describes the parents' expectations, their intentions and plans for their children to start attending school, and deals with their fears, dilemmas and ideas.
