Abstract:
The presented article is focused on partial results of implemented research in the area of high-school preparation for work with programme MS Office Excel. Research was conducted at the turn of years 2016 and 2017 at two faculties of education. First one was the Faculty of Education at Palacký University in Olomouc and the second one was the Faculty of Education of Ostrava University. The research was done on the first-year students of teacher training programmes. The research was done through the use of quantitative methods of data collection and evaluation. Data collection was done through questionnaires given to 120 respondents. Part of the research was also an expected amount of further education of students for work with programme MS Office Excel at university. The main goal of the research was to look for dependencies between the assessment and the expectations that could be relevant in creation of the educational content for ICT subjects. By applying these findings the learning needs of students would be more closely reflected and they would effectively implement the content framework of higher education.Keywords:
