Abstract:
The European Space in Higher Education (EEES) implies a change in the teaching methodology that is based on learning throughout the life of the student. It aims to train students capable of autonomous self-learning with the help of the teacher, whose role is to teach "learning”. There is a profound change in the roles of "student" and "teacher", passing the first one to be an active subject in their learning and the second one to be the guide of this process.

Linked to this new educational model was created at the University of Alicante (academic year 2005/06) the Tutorial Action Plan, promoted from the Office of the Vice President for Strategical Planning and Quality and coordinates from the Educational Sciences Institute (E.S.I.).

This Tutorial Action Plan seeks to offer the student a reference teacher that support and guide him in his academic and personal development and in his adaptation to the social context and academic curriculum. To that end, was assigned to each tutor a small group of students with they develop a set of individual activities and group work.

In the Tutorial Action Plan participate students and teachers from all faculties and University Colleges of the University of Alicante. In this regard, especial mention deserves the plan established at the Faculty of Law and, in particular, in the Criminology Programme (2nd course) online for their special characteristics.

The Criminology Programme is a second cycle degree that has a group of virtual teaching. Then, the profile of student for tutoring in this case differs from other programmes:

1. because it is not directed to students of first year, but students of fourth year who have already had a previous contact with the university community, nevertheless require support from a tutor.

2. because the virtual teaching requires an online monitoring of the student, which implies a reformulation of the technical guidance in the absence of an interaction or a direct work (face to face) between student and teacher.

Moreover, in this degree -unlike others- have opted for a dual model, where not only teachers of the center can play the tutorial action, but also students or “colleagues” of the same programme but from higher course (in this specific case, only to fifth course).

Precisely, the objective of this study is to analyze the Tutorial Action Plan in the Criminology Programme (2nd course) online of the University of Alicante from my experience as a student of fifth course and tutor of "junior." students. Thus, after contextualising the project and determining his organization, participants and aims, will proceed to examine their strengths and weaknesses and, ultimately, to assess the results achieved since it was adopted in this degree.
