Abstract:
Quantitative Techniques for Business Quality Production is a course offered at the University official Master Quantitative Techniques for Management belonging to the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Granada. This course deals with statistical quality control and explores the contributions of Shewhart, control charts. For the development of classes, computer use by students is essential due to the complexity and laborious task. In addition, students should learn to use an appropriate tool to perform the activities of statistical quality control. The use of flexible and actual software is the best choice. The statistical package R is a statistical computing environment which includes tools of statistical quality control and generation of control charts, included in a package called qcc. On the one hand, having repositories is perfect for teaching because it allows students who can access it and use it at home without added cost. On the other hand, this allows us to propose a methodology for the evaluation system where students are evaluated by computer with advantages that entails.
