Abstract:
The study aimed at designing a framework for problem-based learning at the technical vocational education and training college. The problem‐based learning approach, if practised at the technical vocational education and training college, could be an effective pedagogical approach for entrepreneurship education. Problem-based frameworks have an effect on the learning of entrepreneurship education to improve students’ understanding and the ability to use entrepreneurship concepts in the real world. Furthermore, problem-based learning helps students develop knowledge flexibility, the ability to provide effective solutions to problem-solving, independent work skills, effective collaboration skills, and intrinsic motivation. The study adopted the participatory action research approach. The approach involved all stakeholders affected to contribute to more effective problem-based learning. It is believed that the framework developed by people affected by the problem is likely to be implemented. The findings revealed that the lecturers were unable to apply problem-based learning to their teaching of entrepreneurship. This necessitated an appropriate framework to deal with the problem. Thus the study presents a framework to the teaching of problem solving of entrepreneurship education of technical vocational education and training college lecturers. Keywords:
