Abstract:
With this research paper, we aim to revisit theories regarding different approaches to online assessment, including the difficulties that are encountered during the process. It also offers particular educational examples of its enforcement and implementation within teaching and learning contexts. Once this brief overview is complete, this work will focus on designing an online assessment proposal that tries to overcome the obstacles and combines all different possibilities addressed.

Therefore, we aim to present a methodology that can be applicable in order to undertake a fully online assessment with the highest guarantee focused on feasibility, validity and reliability. The approach will be focused on university educational context but it is expected that this can be extrapolated and adapted to other educational stages.

For this, a concise theoretical framework will be developed, giving way to a proposal that will be explained in detail and will also consider different options and include unsolved problems.
