Abstract:
Natural language processing has revolutionised the field of artificial intelligence, providing new items capable of understanding and producing language. In this way, comprehension analysis could be used for other purposes, such as monitoring users' well-being. In this project, the WAY2AGE platform is proposed, as well as preliminary results. An application based on Microsoft Azure to assess mood through language in young university students and adults. Through features such as emotional load analysed in terms of sentiment analysis. This type of analysis could be implemented with more detailed analysis of language production and its characteristics at different levels such as morphology or pragmatics among others, which in turn could reflect aspects such as cognitive impairment. The results along these lines will help us to implement theoretical welfare models, while in an applied way to maximise the use of such devices for these purposes. Particularly and given the restrictions during the Covid-19 pandemic, this type of project allows us to innovate in monitoring the mental health and well-being of our university students.
