Abstract:

The specialist literature mentions more than 150 methods and techniques frequently used by managers. Taking into account the fact that today creativity is the main resource of organizations, the paper aims to discover several managerial methods and techniques best suited to creativity management. In order to collect and analyze the Romanians’ specialist opinions in this field, we carried out a research study based on a questionnaire in the academic environment. The respondents were academics and PhD students from various management fields. We centralized the collected data with the help of PASW18 and Microsoft Excel software. We then prepared a ranking of the managerial methods and techniques recommended by the Romanian academics and PhD students to be used by the creativity management specialists of the organizations producing goods or providing services. Finally, we suggested an innovative model of sustainable development, based on creativity, in which the modern managerial methods and techniques play a crucial role. We believe that this theoretical model can help the economies of many states to surmount future economic crises.
