Abstract:
Today, the use of technological tools in the classroom has become a great support for the teacher when teaching his class. This paper presents a methodology based on the use of technological tools in the teaching of the course of calculus of several variables, in this course the student must face the conception of magnitudes and surfaces in three dimensions and analyze the ideas of variation of more of a variable. The methodology we present is based on the use of the virtual reality technology tool and which is also free software, “Geogebra”, the methodology includes procedures and activities aimed at allowing the student to visualize and analyze the interaction between the planes and the surfaces in the three-dimensional space and develop the competences related to the use and understanding of concepts in three dimensions. The main objective is to develop the methodology to implement it in the courses of calculus of several variables.
