Abstract:
The Global Development Learning Network (GDLN) is a worldwide project created by the World Bank that aims to promote the development of regions through learning and networking. The project has achieved positive results, particularly in developing countries. In Latina America, different universities and organizations that belong to this net decided to create a Foundation called GDLN Americas to attend local needs and realities, responding promptly with strategies designed according to this particular continent. The strategy of “Partnership for prosperity” has provided us with lessons learned and experiences on how to develop and adjust a global system to better comply the needs of our region. A power point presentation will be used to refer to this case.
