Abstract:
The framework that can be developed now is that learning is totally different from what it was in previous generations. This is due to the emergence of concepts like virtuality, new roles of teachers and students, new training materials, ect. Information and Communications Technology, ICT commonly called, are a new challenge in the teaching-learning process, which is emerging under the Information Society with the new features of computers, telephony and especially the Internet, which provides access to all types of communication available everywhere, providing a new form of instant communication and omnipresent.
But these new methods of teaching and learning at the university level, the ICT themselves, do not guarantee a positive and simple way compared to traditional methods. This represents a significant adaptation of educational programs, quality control of materials and virtual services, as well as teacher training, which will be the main driver towards their customers, the students.
This paper proposes a study on the impact of the introduction of new technologies in the Spanish university and especially in various groups of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, as well as the diverse needs and awareness necessary for an optimum performance in order to advance and obtain leading, cutting-edge teaching techniques in the society in which we operate and in comparison with the European framework. Keywords:
