Abstract:
Currently, from the political, social, economic and technological challenge the Spanish university considering the demand for training raised from labor and economic perspective. This is due to the need for professionals with specific skills (discipline) and transverse (personal / social skills). Therefore arises a compelling need to professionalize teacher training university teachers, as a person who has received systematic training on knowledge, skills and attitudes to the teaching task demands, guarantee the quality of teaching and the personal satisfaction of teaching itself and students with the training they give and receive. With the intention of making the teacher more and more competent in their tasks, to facilitate the process of problem solving teachers and students, the article discusses a proposal to improve their teaching through teacher training and continuing one's own teacher and the self-evaluation of their practice to be competent professionals in the social space in which we move and thus closer to the desired quality model.
