Abstract:
In this paper we show a research project that aims to analyze the effects of an educational intervention program based on the Life stories and Testimony Theater of LGTBI+ people. Life stories represent a qualitative research form that provides information about events and customs to show how the person is. This reveals the actions of an individual person as a human actor and participant in social life through the reconstruction of the events lived and the transmission of their life experience. On the other hand, Testimony Theater enables the representation of the Life stories through theater. We believe that Life stories and Testimony Theater are tools that facilitate the construction of identity, empowerment and self-knowledge of groups in risk of exclusion as LGTBI+ people. Specifically, the educational intervention and their research will be conducted at a High School of Castellón de la Plana (Spain). In a first phase will be made a workshop with a group of LGTBI+ people. The final product will be the life stories of LGTBI+ people participants in workshops and a piece of Testimony Theater. In the second phase the piece will be performed at the High School. In addition to this activity we make several tutoring sessions about sexual affective diversity. Through this project we intend to give voice and to visualize the LGBTI+ people life stories because sexual diversity is part of an inclusive vision of education. Keywords:
