Abstract:
We present a teaching experience based on the development of a wiki website oriented to support the interdisciplinary collaboration between students and teachers of two subjects in the Psychology degree of the University of Valencia: Statistics and Work Social Psychology. The choice of the wiki technology was based on the ease with which pages can be created in a collaborative way and updated in real-time, which fitted our main purpose of improving the joint work between the professors involved in this experience as well as the communication with the students. According to students and teachers’ assessment, this experience has had a positive effect on the significant learning of the contents of both subjects. Moreover, it has had an important role in motivating students, encouraging them to value statistics as an integral part of the research process and as an important element of their training as psychologists. Keywords:
