Abstract:
The learning process was designed to guide teachers in the integration of technology involving the interactive boards, laptops for teachers and tablets for leaners. The critical success factor was the professional development of Teachers in the knowledge and skills in teaching with technology including a change management programme to address barriers. Their learning journey is divided into Digital Literacy, Knowledge Deepening and Knowledge Creation – based on the UNESCO Model. Self-assessment tools and learning programmes were developed for a blended learning environment using the 10:20:70 Model of Training. District- and School-based ICT Committees were established to assist to ensure implementation and the sustainability of the project in their schools, including Professional Learning Communities.
