Abstract:
Inclusion has entered the field of education in early1990s after a long time segregationists’ thought dominated the educational systems of the countries. It was primarily aimed at giving a halt to the exclusion of disabled children and young learners from mainstream schooling. Later, they generalized it to cover other purposes such as reducing discrimination on the basis of gender, class, sexual orientation, ethnicity and family background. A few studies have been conducted by the Second Language Acquisition scholars to investigate the acceptability of the inclusion program among English language learners. They also aimed at comparing difference-blind practice and a truly equitable way to equalize educational opportunity. In this paper, we enumerated three components of inclusion program: English language learners, teachers, and schools. Finally, twelve amendments to current second language learning system are presented. Keywords:
inclusion, second language acquisition, l2 learning research.
