Abstract:

From the inventory of a language words until the presentation of knowledge gained in a specific field, dictionaries mark the transition from specialist knowledge accessible to specialists to a knowledge of mass in the context of an acute need for information specific to the modern world. In this context subscribes the project called „The Encyclopedic Dictionary of adult education”, financed by budgetary funds of NURC (National University Research Centre), and who is currently realized within the Department Dictionaries & Encyclopedias, University "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" of Iasi. The initiation of this project is to awareness the role of adult education - as part of the general education system - in sustaining learning throughout the entire live, individually and collectively. DEEA project is part of the national and international approaches of theoretical foundation, offering a conceptual and methodological framework, who is specific to the field of lifelong learning and adult.
