Abstract:
The study, protection and transmission of cultural heritage through the safeguarding of culture, preservation of cultural traditions, identity and cultural code are of utmost importance for any educational institution that thinks about future generations. All innovation processes are directly related to the cultural-historical world and cultural traditions. The main category that is important in the preservation and transmission of cultural heritage is folk memory. Cultural memory is the collective name of the results of cognitive activity and life practice of people, reproduced from generation to generation. In the scientific literature, cultural memory is understood as a form of translation and updating of cultural meanings, i.e. information developed in the process of historical experience, with the help of which a certain community creates its own way of existence, way of life, understanding of the surrounding world and determines its place and purpose in it.
Consolidating cultural memory is one of the most important tasks of the EU's cultural strategy. The very phenomenon of human community is based on the presence of certain verbal texts, patterns of behavior, situations that have cultural functions. Thus, with the concept of culture, we can denote a set of not genetic, but acquired information, a product of human memory, which stores and accumulates information. Historically oriented socialization, upbringing, education and development of the creative potential of the personality based on interaction with cultural values in modern conditions are the most important tools for forming a comprehensive worldview of the individual and conveyance of meanings that are sustainable over time.
The aim of this paper is to outline the main problem areas affecting the management of the processes of creation and distribution of digital content, reflecting objects of cultural heritage and memory, which fit in an adequate way in the modern information and educational environment. The creation of an interactive learning environment designed for the transmission of information, knowledge and culture is of particular importance for the formation of cultural memory among learners. The creation of a digital model for the study and enhancement of the visual cultural memory of students in a university environment in the form of an electronic platform is one of the promising ways to preserve a part of the cultural memory of educational institutions.
In the present work, innovative methods for building and preserving cultural memory in the field of higher education will be considered. The hypothesis will be proven that the creation of quality digital resources, as well as their popularization with the most high-tech means of modernity, is one of the ways to preserve their authenticity and pass them on for generations. The dynamically ongoing processes of ubiquitous implementation of new technologies and especially their potential for the preservation and promotion of cultural memory give reason to express an optimistic expectation for the multiplication of digital models for the study of cultural memory in educational institutions, as well as in practical applications in the process of realization of digitization and visualization projects of local, regional and national importance, as well as the preparation of educational content.
