Abstract:
Business data analytics can be used in the process of enterprise transformation: business insights are obtained from raw data and the decision-making process is improved. Based on innovation, the power of data analysis is used to penetrate new markets, to strengthen relationships with business partners and customers, to streamline production processes, including supply chain management. Business transformation can be achieved through an end-to-end approach that includes four layers: context and planning (daily operations management; operational efficiency); analytical modeling (data-driven prediction; data mining for decision making); data (generation of large volumes of data involving high data cleaning costs); technology (integrating analytics into the business process). All these layers of analysis help maximize business benefits.

The development degree of a country is directly proportional to the development degree of the medication industry. In Romania, the pharmaceutical industry knows a continuous growth in the production and consumption of medication, contributes significantly to the country's GDP and job creation, but it also faces challenges and opportunities in innovation and adaptation to technological and regulatory changes. Currently, the presence on the health market environment requires managers to have essential skills in the process of making intelligent decisions for developing strategies and allocating resources, following the development of tools for understanding and simulating processes (models, organizational charts), supply chain optimization, production optimization and control.

The use of technologies, access to resources, cooperation, the introduction of e-learning as a training method at the workplace facilitates obtaining a good professional training adapted to market requirements. Learning through case studies (Problem-Based Learning) enables knowledge acquiring and their practical application through reflection, search, clarification, commenting, and problems solving.

The paper presents a case study of a pharmaceutical company starting from the general and competitive context, the market, the procurement system, production, organizational structure and management, strategies pointing out the main directions of action aimed at increasing market share. In the field of human resource management, the aim is to ensure qualified personnel in all spheres of activity, through continuous training in order to increase resilience: diversified and safe supply chains; environmentally sustainable pharmaceutical products; crisis preparedness and response mechanisms.
