Abstract:
The world is becoming more and more digital, which has an impact on the functioning of society as a whole. Digitization is a phenomenon that is transforming the economy, governance, education, health, etc. and can ensure sustainable economic smart growth and promote social inclusion.

Increasingly complex IT systems, multi-dimensional digital environments, multiple connections and communication channels make cybersecurity an essential topic for any organization. Risk management must follow the model of cybersecurity. It provides visibility and control, covering the entire network of data, equipment, virtual media and cloud applications.

Education is the basic tool in the process of digital transformation and development of the digital culture that the Romanian society is going through. In the field of cybersecurity, a workforce with skills, training and accreditation is needed to meet this state-of-the-art challenge. The training of cybersecurity specialists must take into account that AI technology is becoming more widespread in the security industry, IoT is digitizing and prevailing markets in this industry, cloud-based solutions are becoming essential, privacy has gained more attention, everything is more emphasis on green production and lower gas emissions.

The paper presents considerations on modeling cybersecurity training, pedagogical aspects of training in accordance with the lifecycle principle - planning, implementation & feedback, and as a case study, an example of a security infrastructure audit.
