Abstract:
Polish and Kyrgyz universities want to cooperate with each other and offer their students additional international opportunities. One of these activities is to organize joint Master's studies in English, which culminate in a joint (double) diploma.

The article presents the results of research carried out among Kyrgyz first-cycle students in Computer Science. The research concerned the problem of undertaking joint international Master's (2nd degree) studies in Computer Science by first-cycle students. Research was conducted at various leading Kyrgyzstan universities. Research results indicate that students are very interested in joint international Master's studies. The research allowed to identify areas of Computer Science in which students would like to undertake Master’s studies.

The results of the surveys also pointed to the most important reasons for wanting to study abroad, the risk assessment associated with it, and the expectations of benefits for students after graduation. Students also indicated areas in which they expected them to be supported by the home university in the direction of preparing them to study abroad as part of the double diploma program.

The results of the research allowed to define the subject and scope of the project of joint Polish-Kyrgyz master's studied development in Computer Science. They also allowed to define additional activities in this project, such as: making students aware, courses on intercultural differences, etc.
