Abstract:
The different ways of expressing the definitions, concepts and considerations of different authors on graph theory are shown methodologically with an educational didactic approach, although it is appropriate to clarify that to a large extent several of the concepts are adapted to experiences lived by professors who teach subjects at the University of Computer Science that can be extended to other centers of a similar nature that exist in the country. The graph theory is very extensive and there is no absolute definition of the concept of graph, precisely through different definitions it is about achieving a greater idea of where it is possible to apply the concept and above all getting the students and teachers involved in The project finds a compact document with definitions, concepts and considerations with different approaches, giving guidelines regarding the weighting of vertices and edges.
The work contributes to the motivation of students to participate in student scientific events with research related to the application of graphs weighted in problems related to some subjects of the curriculum of the degree in Computer Science Engineering that are taught at the University of Sciences Informatics (ICU).
