Abstract:
This paper is devoted to the mutual co-operation between education and industry, while meeting the government's approach in a very specific area - military. Education is represented by the University of Defence, which is a state university in the Czech Republic. It has three faculties - Faculty of Military Technology, Faculty of Economics and Management and the Faculty of Military Health Sciences. The headquarters of this school is the city of Brno in the Czech Republic. By industry is meant military industry and the military. The government is represented by the Ministry of Defence. The three partners co-operate on various projects and also in solving various problems. The university contributes not only on preparation of students for their future work in practice, but also the students during the study, address the tasks required for current practice. This paper touches the issue that university teachers, postgraduates and students in bachelor's and master's degree program devote to, at the Department of Engineer Technologies of the Faculty of Military Technology at the aforementioned university. For this reason, the contribution focuses on the issue of engineering troops, specifically with regard to military bases on foreign missions.
