Abstract:
The author in his article examines the learning styles of students attending a college. Learning styles can be divided according to different perspectives and criteria. Individual authors focus on different views, and it also corresponds to a specific division which is being introduced. It shows that learning style is an important factor that contributes to the overall success of the study. The author also points out that every student should have his/her learning style well known so that the best can be made out of it and the weaknesses eliminated. Self-study should be adapted to the style of its particular self, because in it the students can advance their individual claims. In collective work they shall find the positives which reveal to be beneficial for others. Another part of the article deals with the possibilities that the teacher has to take into account the learning styles in different forms of instruction. But this is not easy or obvious. In some cases, it’s quite problematic; at another time it is easier to implement the project. The article appertains to the project with the registration number CZ.1.07/2.2.00/15.0485 and is co-financed by the European Social Fund and the State Budget of the Czech Republic.
