Abstract:

At present is the computer technology in plenty put into practice of teaching of all subjects . It´s utilization is many – sided and important role of it is E- learning. It´s never true, that something has only positive impact and no negative impact. Of course, the same applies vice versa. That´s why the author asks the question reffered to in the title of the article. He takes a think about advantages and disadvantages of E-learning education, what is carried out through the computer technology and various forms of E-learning. One part of this article is dealed with the problems in it´s general terms. The author has also personal experience in creating e- learning courses and their use in practice. Moreover, in his professional work also focuses on qualitative or quantitative research on the pedagogical use of E –learning in the educational process. About this research should be discussed in a separate large – scale work. Some findings from this research are already presented in the paper at the conference ICERI2010.
