Abstract:
All the teachers and the teachers of humanities in particular strive not only to educate students, but also to build rapport with them and to create an environment that is safe and that fosters communication so that the classes they teach become real learning communities to which the students feel they belong. A community is defined by most specialists as a group of people who have certain characteristics, attitudes or interests in common. In the present paper we present the results of the observation that we made of the first and second year Accounting and Management Information Systems cadets at the “Nicolae Balcescu” Land Forces Academy of Sibiu, during the academic year 2021-2022, after having used methods intended to strengthen the sense of learning community in the classes where we taught English.
