Abstract:
The SciLED project, having as the main objective the exchanges of good practices, focuses on activities that require various piloting actions as instruments used to quantify the success of creating a Knowledge Alliance. This alliance further promotes new skills for designing drastically improved comfort, sustainable, fashion-oriented and scientifically-led footwear products to the target group. This paper presents the piloting phase concerning implementing the educational material developed in the framework of the project, corresponding to two EQF profiles: Footwear Designer and Footwear Product Manager. Through this piloting phase, the above educational material, as well as the concepts, digital tools and contents of the EQFs, were tested, verified and validated. Using modern virtual tools, the project has set up a virtual Fab Lab shared by the countries and partners involved in the piloting. The piloting actions, both virtual and physical, were done in several stages: asynchronous learning on SciLED Academy, workshops and seminars, project work, training on virtual FabLab, and finally intensive training mobility of students.
