Abstract:
The problem of using audio-visual materials in teaching Russian as a foreign language is considered in this article.
As we know, listening is recognized as one of the most difficult types of speech activity, because in a real dialogue you should understand the text at first sight. There is a number of other objective obstacles to understanding speech from the first presentation, which include the individual characteristics of the source of speech, such as the rate of speech, tone of voice, diction and articulation.
We believe that the introduction of audio-visual materials at the elementary level of learning Russian as a foreign language contributes to the development of skills of listening, speaking, facilitates the process of learning a new vocabulary and grammar.
Sounding video information includes the unity of words, actions, emotions, thoughts of the speaker, so in modern methodological literature marked that movies give a lot of opportunities in teaching all aspects of the language and all kinds of speech activity.
The advantages and peculiarities of the inclusion of audio-visual materials in lesson are shown by the authors. As practice shows, the use of fragments from Russian movies, cartoons, TV shows, news, commercials makes lessons more interesting and lively.
Foreign students in real-life situations are involved. Students are introduced to the Russian reality, culture, national features of construction and operation language.
The types of authentic audio-visual materials which are used in teaching Russian as a foreign language are defined, the criteria of their selection for teaching use are established in the article.
The authors underlines the importance of well thought-out and right choice of the audio-visual materials by the teacher for its use at the lesson.
The authors comes to the conclusion that authentic audio-visual materials are an effective means of lexical skills of listening, when the criteria of its selection are observed and a complex of techniques, exercises are made according to the goals and objectives.Keywords:
