Abstract:
Culture of peace as defined by the United Nations means a series of values, attitudes and behaviors that reject violence as a normal form of relationship and highlight the importance of alternative conflict resolution by attacking its roots and causes in group and nations interaction. One of the most important areas of work to promote this Culture is education and the different ways of transmitting this information to the population, as well as practice promotion of them. This means thinking about values, practice processes in terms of justice, democracy, solidarity, tolerance, gender equality, among others.

At the end they reflect their internalized learning in attitudes. The result show that children's real environment is built around stereotypes, like the observed in relation to the roles that men and women play. Their perception of physical or psychological violence was also evidenced.
