Abstract:
Culture of peace as defined by the United Nations means a series of values, attitudes and behaviors that reject violence as a normal form of relationship and highlight the importance of alternative conflict resolution by attacking its roots and causes in group and nations interaction. One of the most important areas of work to promote this Culture is education and the different ways of transmitting this information to the population, as well as practice promotion of them. This means thinking about values, practice processes in terms of justice, democracy, solidarity, tolerance, gender equality, among others.

The proposal for good teaching practice is part of the Sustainable Development Goal 5 promoted by UN. Educommunication makes it possible to inform and educate population. In this sense, the objectives of the present work were: Firstly, to develop competences and skills in Law and Social Communication university students in topics related to violence, education and culture peace. Second, to ensure that this knowledge is transmitted to children between the ages of 6 and 9 from schools in vulnerable sectors through educommunication products.

The implemented methodology is part of the training, empowerment and social interaction of university students. Children under the program are evaluated before and after the application of the process on issues of violence, stereotypes, conflict resolution and peace, through their active participation in a 3-hour space seminars and team working. At the end they reflect their internalized learning in attitudes. The result show that children's real environment is built around stereotypes, like the observed in relation to the roles that men and women play. Their perception of physical or psychological violence was also evidenced.

The results are manifold. On the one hand, involve future professional actors, students, in training in real projects; and on the other, inform and sensitize citizens about current and sensitive issues such as gender violence. This work was developed in a group of subjects, training children, where gender inequality and vulnerable sectors conditions were found. The production of educommunication media traditional and digital products allow the audience to be aware, perceive and understand the problem.
