Abstract:
At present, the development of innovation and digitization is advancing across all industries. Individual industries implement innovative technologies in the planning, management and control processes. In construction, the use of innovative technologies and digitization is increasing. Virtual reality, mixed reality, augmented reality, building information modelling and clouds become part of the planning and management of construction production. This trend is gradually being transferred to the educational process, which increases the quality of education. At present, the rate of implementation of information and communication technologies in the educational process of universities is increasing. The paper analyses the possibilities of using interactive tools in the educational process at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Technical University in Košice. These tools are used in the teaching of subjects focused primarily on the management and planning of construction production, such as subjects of construction process technology, construction technology design and technology project. The paper also analyses the ways of interaction of these tools in solving final theses and team projects.
