Abstract:
Today’s society demands vocational training of its citizens, reason for the integration of programs in distance learning at the Instituciones de Educación Superior (IES) in México, to expand educational offering. This includes ability and commitment to society itself, overriding the need for the industrialization of education to social groups dispersed in different geographical regions.

Also the Facultad de Pedagogía e Innovación Educativa (FPIE), an academic unit of the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (UABC) in México, offers a learning unit in Development of Training Materials, through open and distance learning. In this learning mode, you have the opportunity to bring the teaching-learning process to another level, allowing participants to register for courses that adapt to their own time and needs, making the participants reach full knowledge and competence.

This study describes the collaborative work of college students with the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), describing relevant features of collaborative work developed by students, based on the participant observation technique, and taking mainly as evaluative aspects the responsibility and teamwork of the participants. Also, reflecting on the results obtained by the study, according to the diversity and incidence of statistic information using the SPSS program.
