Abstract:
There are methodologies that propose the modification of teaching in environments that integrate e-learning and collaborative learning. In the integral formation of the students it would be advisable to encourage the continuous exchange of ideas to strengthen the decision making and increase student achievement.

This work shows the experience of collaborative learning and project-based learning in a programming language I course for digital design students. The course includes the fundamentals of the object-oriented paradigm and the application of those concepts. In the course, material for exercises resolution individually was built, as well as tasks that included documentary and applied research of various practical examples. In addition, teams were integrated that would solve a final project throughout a semester that would include all the concepts seen in the course. The objective is that students search and investigate to solve the problems that are presented throughout the project, which encourages project-based learning.

Most of the students in their projects developed video games through the object-oriented paradigm. The results of the projects show an adequate application of the concepts, while the use of them is evident in the results of final approval. Among the benefits of integrating project-based and collaborative learning and e-learning were: the high percentage of approval, concepts application to real problems, learning to share their knowledge with other students both face-to-face and virtual.
