Abstract:
An information society in 21st century demands students with skills that can be used in real life. This is the reason why PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment) was developed. It has in focus 15 years old students because this is the age that students in most countries finish their compulsory education.
This is a paper that compares the results of Albanian students with the average score of OECD. Firstly we are going to treat the results of Albanian students, and then we will treat the average score of OECD countries. These two results will be analyzed in the end of the paper, where we will see is the increasing of the Albanian students’ results match with the increasing of OECD average score? Are these results getting better, worst or there is not any change?
The Albanian students score has increased during the years, and also the OEDC average but we will analyze if this percentage of increase has remained constant, or if Albanian students have a better/worse performance than the average of OECD.Keywords:
